The Neural Diversity Network bridges the divide between management and autism research, public interaction with science, diversity awareness and training. The business uses immersive experiential learning to promote understanding of autism, including a public facing art installation enabling people to participate directly with autism research and improve personal understanding of how autistic people experience the world.
Neural Diversity Network is changing the dialogue around ‘End the Stigma’ to Neural Diversity Tourism, where participants visit installations to walk a mile in someone else’s shoes and link learned empathy with practical solutions that shift the focus on an individual’s suffering to the power of a well-designed environment.
- Mission – To promote neural diversity
- Vision – To transform thinking
- Aims – To promote neural diversity by going beyond awareness raising, to building relationships and managing environments so that autistic and non autistic people achieve better quality of life and improved productivity at work
The art installation is an immersive experience to provide an experience where participants visit installations to walk a mile in someone else’s shoes and link learned empathy with practical solutions that shift the focus on an individual’s suffering to the power of a well-designed environment.
